Whiteland is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects, leading teams, and building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of construction projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
- Review and approve submittals, RFIs, change orders, and payment applications
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and contract specifications
- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to clients and senior management
- Manage project documentation including contracts, drawings, permits, and closeout materials
- Identify and resolve issues proactively to keep projects on track
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience managing construction projects
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project, or similar)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, and cost control
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, CCM, or LEED certification
- Experience with [specific project types: ground-up construction, renovations, tenant improvements, etc.]
- OSHA 30-Hour certification
- Experience managing projects valued at $[X million] or greater
