Account Executive

Whiteland is looking for a competent Account Executive to find business opportunities and manage customer relationships. You’ll be directly responsible for the preservation and expansion of our customer base. The ideal candidate will be experienced in sales and customer service as well. We expect you to be a reliable professional, able to balance customer orientation and a results-driven approach.

Your overarching goal would be to identify opportunities with prospects and build them into long-term profitable relationships.

  • Completion of a professional accounting designation (such as CPA or legacy CA, CGA, CMA) with significant financial management experience. An equivalent combination of financial-related education, training and experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and budgeting and expenditure controls, including knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and methodologies.
  • Experience developing and implementing financial management practices to assure the security and proper use of funds, through grant accountability, contract management, budgeting activity and comptrollership.
  • Experience working with financial statements and proven ability to interpret financial statements including balance sheets, income statements and the sources of fund statements.
  • Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review complex financial information and develop various options and a recommendation for executive managers.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills including the ability to deliver and present financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate financial and nonfinancial information in writing to a variety of audiences
  • Supervisory experience including planning, organizing, directing and managing the performance of a variety of staff at various levels.
